Taylor Swift Ranked
It was not till 2019 with "Lover" when i heard a Swift album in full, but now that i have heard every album in full from Taylor, here is my ranking of all of her studio albums. |
7 | | Taylor Swift Reputation
When an artist releases an album for cathartic purposes while going through a rough time, it is often seen as their best work. That is not the case here as Taylor temporarily puts on a "bad girl" image. Reputations may issue is that its a rather boring and disjointed album, complete with lackluster production and fart synths. I am glad she is going better now, and if this album did truly help her in a cathartic way like she says then I understand why this album exists.

6 | | Taylor Swift Red
A rather experimental and bold album that I did enjoy though this album does have one problem: the co-writing here is not very good. that aside its one that is still worth checking out.
3/5 |
5 | | Taylor Swift Taylor Swift
a pretty solid debut though it is rather dated. despite this this is a rather enjoyable country album.
3.5/5 |
4 | | Taylor Swift Fearless
Their is a bit of a pop influence coming into this one, as this is an album that is an improvement over the debut and the theme of innocent love thought the album works very well!
3.5/5 |
3 | | Taylor Swift Speak Now
The swan song of the country era of swift that also sports some diversity in its arrangements. This album is one that gets better with every listen, while it is the end of an era, this is a satisfying conclusion as a whole and one grande finale worth revising again and again.

2 | | Taylor Swift Lover
After the cathartic yet sub-par "reputation", "Lover" is a return to form for Taylor. the album carries a minimalist, yet intimate atheistic. Taylor even (Briefly) visits her country roots here too. Seeing as how this made my 2019 best list, this album is one that is very much worth hearing, the only thing keeping it from a 5 for me is the rather disjointed "You need to calm down" that is an outlier on the record

1 | | Taylor Swift 1989
Taylor goes full pop here, and it is very well done too. the synths sound great, and their is not a single dull moment or cut thought this albums run time. Everything here is rather fantastic the production is well polished thought its run time. this album is a really enjoyable and memorable listening experience from front to back. "1989" is (currently) without any doubt her magnum opus.
