personally i think pantera and a7x are both garbage. then theres a lot of other albs that i wouldnt say i hate but theyre mostly just good. not even great.

03.25.20 | I agree about 11 and 19 BUT, regardless of their quality, they do things that I personally just enjoy more than others. Same with the Venom album, I can see why it’s not very great, but it has a ton of stuff that I just appreciate personally.
As for City it Evil, I’ll defend it until I die lmao. It’s the first album I ever listened to when I was in middle school or something. Nostalgia aside, I think it still holds up because they have an interesting mixture of styles that I enjoy. The vocal harmonies and song structuring are really well done I think. Far better than any of the other Metallica-aping metalcore bands from that time period my opinion. |

City of Evil was a big deal when it dropped, not without reason. Doesn't really click with me anymore, but pretty much every song has a banger part or two (Bat country's "I try-e-i-e-i-eeee" part, for example). |
