Valkoor952 01.15.20	Imagine including Scream, Cornetto and Apes but not including the Godfather. Yeah, the third movie is very underwhelming compared to the first two, but the first two are easily in the top of the greatest movies ever made.
DarkSideOfLucca 01.15.20	I hear you, but the third film was such a misstep and didn’t conclude the story in a satisfying way that I can’t include it. It’s like having the best 2/3 of a novel only to have the ending fall flat. If I was going by those rules, I’d include things like The Terminator, Alien, etc

Assembly cut is ok, but I still have a fucking ridiculous amount of problems with it and it’s massively unsatisfying to me outside of a few scenes. Mad max for sure but I also want to include fury road lol
botulist 01.16.20	The dialogue in the before trilogy mostly speaks to how low American standards for film dialogue have plunged. Europe and Asia pumps out movies with better play-centric scripts by the bucket-load. The third one was best, regardless

Toy Story would be up there, Godfather I would include if I loved the 3rd one, but even though the first two are my favorites I can't include the whole trilogy on this list

They seem up my alley moreso than things like Planet of the Apes and Cornetto.
