11.29.19 | Headphones give me a headache so I’m an earphone man.
I’ve been using senheisser true wireless buds...expensive, slightly uncomfortable, broke twice...but...incredible sound quality, convenience (good range) and the warranty covers it and resets every time you take them back so I’d look into them.
Otherwise the senheisser regular cabled ones probs have even slightly better sound quality...until you become conscious of the rumbling of the cord against your clothes |

11.29.19 | As soon as I get my hands on Sennheiser HD599's those'll hopefully be my favorite.
Even though I don't own them yet either the Koss Porta Pros are fucking classics, and they look cool, so do the KPH30i's
Right now I'm currently using HyperX Cloud II's which are essentially just Takstar Pro 80s. |

11.29.19 | I don’t understand why anyone who listens to music heavily would hesitate about purchasing a great pair of headphones or earphones.
If I’m willing to pay 60 dollars on alcohol on a night out I’ll pay a few hundred for my earphones |

11.29.19 | I got a free $300 pair of beats. They’re good but I have no idea why someone would spend that much money on them.
Sennheiser ftw

11.29.19 | i've got some jbl something or others that i got for free. at some point i'll look into getting a solid set but most of my disposable income for music related stuff goes to the whole vinyl record thing so idk |

11.29.19 | Been rocking the Bose QC35 for 3 years now, still going strong and still love it. |

11.29.19 | I have a pretty large headphone/IEM collection. By far the best $180 I've ever spend was on my BGVP DM6's. Sound clarity and instrument separation is unmatched |

11.29.19 | Sennheisers are undisputed best quality / bang for your buck but atm I'm using some Sony bluetooth ones which are also good |

11.30.19 | Have a bad habit of losing headphones, so stick to cheapies nowadays. On some wireless JBLs atm which go all good for circa $60(NZD). |

11.30.19 | @blastOFFitsPARTYtime then have a special box or drawer for them? |

11.30.19 | Haha I lose them when I’m out and about (although a couple of the more expensive pairs prolly got stolen tbh). |

11.30.19 | I can understand losing wireless earbuds but losing headphones is quite impressive |

11.30.19 | been using Audio Technica ATH-M50x for a couple years. sound great, fantastic build quality. they're pretty tight on the noggin, it can get uncomfortable after prolonged continuous use, but that's the idea, they clamp down to reduce noise bleed. |

11.30.19 | Man, I almost splurged on some $350 Beats headphones at the Apple Store today. Thing is I just bought AirPods two months ago.
Is the difference REALLY worth that much money? Need some honesty here because I will totally do it without hesitation if it’s worth it (but would definitely research the best ones out there). |
budgie
11.30.19 | go search down a hifi store and sample different headphones before dropping $350 on a pair of beats at an apple store |

11.30.19 | Ok, just from a few minutes of light research, I’ve discovered that Beats aren’t bad, but are incredibly overpriced and just a case of paying for the brand. Pass.
I don’t mind paying for quality, but gotta figure out what’s the best out there. |

11.30.19 | Budgie — yeah I gathered. I’m too impulsive sometimes but I luckily pulled the reins on this one. I just have heard Beats are a great brand, but that’s mostly hearsay. |

11.30.19 | I've been using Audeze Mobius headphones for about a year. Planar Magnetic headphones make such a difference. |

12.06.19 | This same list pops up every 6 months, we should just have one stickied like the forums.
Anyway, I've been using a set of Audio Technica ATH-M50 for years, which are good for the purpose I use them for (closer listening to my songs when mixing). I don't wear headphones in public, so I don't have much else for you. Except don't get Beats. |

12.06.19 | using some wireless bose soundsport 2 and they're perfect for the office as well as for sports. Sound quality is outstanding for in ear headphones |

12.06.19 | been using tin audio t2s for about half a year now and theyre sick sound good and are hella durable for like 50 bucks |

12.06.19 | sennheiser build quality is pretty sketchy below £100 i would steer clear. i use dt770s for studio/monitoring and home listening and they're fab, easily the most comfortable headphones on the market. may upgrade to the 1990s in the future for that open-back usability but im pretty set for now. for going out i use the cambridge audio melomania 1s. for what its worth out of every true wireless earbud i tested these were by far the best sound quality, and they're also among the most budget-friendly too. battery life is pretty great. they advertise 9 hours per charge but in my experience its probably 5-6, and the charge case holds like 3 charges additional as well so perfect for taking on a commute or away. |
