Tb1114 09.29.19	Personally I practice Sōtō. I've conversed with a (legit) Wiccan Priestess before, and their beliefs are interesting. This was over a year ago so I cannot remember specifics. But there is so much misconception on their beliefs. I live in the U.S., and at least here Wiccan organizations primarily practice out of their own homes/a leader's home. If I remember correctly, it's much more pantheistic/animistic and nature-y than like, witches and stuff. I get why many here are cringing; in high school I've met many who took to Wicca via "Tumblr" influence, etc. So I think most people who engage with self-proclaimed Wicca are engaging with someone more associated with a label rather than a practice. But for the older, long-term practitioners there's a good level of interest and positive representation.

Agnostic is a statement about knowledge (e.g. "I don't have enough information to know for sure whether a god exists") whereas atheist is a statement about belief ("I don't personally believe one exists"). An agnostic atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a god but acknowledges that they don't (and likely never will) have enough information to KNOW for certain. A gnostic atheist (these are rare) claims to know that a god doesn't exist. Nobody needed to hear that I'm sure but hey it's the internet.

Of course, you can reserve that word for a claim about a person's knowledge or certainty, but you'll still need a word to describe the unresolved state.
