Vacation jams
On the last day of my 7 day work break. Looking forward to grindin' that cash flow but definitely not to 70-80 hour weeks (working the store as well as festivals). Heres all the ULTIMATE metal JAMS that I've heard that all slap dick. |
| 1 | | Falls of Rauros Patterns in Mythology
Watching this band evolve into their own nuanced brand of post rock/folk/shoegaze with echoing bm vox has been incredible. With each new album they refine their sound ever more, and at this point they're completely irreplaceable. 2 good 4 me. 4.5/5 |
| 2 | | False Portent
Epic bm in the vein of Emperor with a modern cutting edge and drumwork as great (or nearly) as a band like Panopticons? Sign me the fuck up. 4/5. |
| 3 | | Bloodred Hourglass Godsend
Super fun CoB melodeath. It's good. 4/5. |
| 4 | | Supercell Today is a Beautiful Day
Warm and lovely j-rock with a myriad of influences ranging from electropop to smooth jazz. It rules. 4/5 |
| 5 | | Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas Feeling of Unity
Electronicore with the worlds most autotuned vocals. Why is it good? I do not know. |
| 6 | | Sybreed Slave Design
Fear Factory turned melodeath. Plenty o chugs and riffs. Fucks. 3.5/5 |
| 7 | | Dissection Storm of the Light's Bane
Forever classic and prolly the first bm album I ever heard. 5/5 |
| 8 | | Mastodon Blood Mountain
Best Mastodon fight me bastards. 4.5/5 |
| 9 | | Mastodon Remission
Other best Mastodon. 4.5/5 |
| 10 | | Cattle Decapitation Monolith of Inhumanity
Some tracks fell off from me but man I still SLAM down to Gristle Licker and Your Disposal. Some days issa 3 and some issa 4. |
