DarkSideOfLucca 01.19.19	@Row - I liked season 1, but I REALLY didn't need another fucking origin story after DD season 2 so I feel you. Thankfully, this is more of Frank killing criminals unrelated to that, so it was pretty awesome. @Cas - What do you mean? Do I think they're going to cancel it? Hell yeah, within a week probably. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.

DarkSideOfLucca 01.19.19	Ehhhh I dunno. I think the Daredevil movie is cheesy as fuck. With that Rob Zombie soundtrack, horrible acting from Ben (who is pretty good now), terrible acting from Colin Ferrell (who is also really good now), cheesy early 2000s bullshit throughout. Not for me. The Director's Cut was marginally better I guess, but it didn't erase like anything that was wrong with the original imo 2004 Punisher has its moments, but that's also way too goofy for my liking, personally.

SitarHero 01.19.19	Deep Blue Sea is firmly entrenched in my list of movies I absolutely will rewatch every time I randomly come across it. It's not good, but it's good enough. THAT Sam Jackson scene has not aged well though. Just goes to show how far CGI has come in the past 20 years.

SitarHero 01.19.19	That's Saffron Burrows you mug! I had a crush on her for about 5 seconds when she was in this and the Wing Commander movie (which was beyond awful), but then she disappeared off the face of the planet. Probs still fighting the Kilrathi somewhere.

SitarHero 01.20.19	Ha! Yeah, as silly as the movie is it has some genuinely good moments. Even the bit at the end where LL Cool J is like "Are you SURE there were only 3 sharks?" is literally the way I feel after any of these movies. xD

artiswar 01.20.19	The Meg was lame, it was spectacle not horror. The best shark movies were The Reef, The Shallows, 47 Metres Down, and Open Water. And as lame as the CGI in Deep Blue Sea is now, the actual prosthetic shark looked menacing af.

SitarHero 01.20.19	Deep Blue Sea was hardly a horror movie though. It was a suspenseful action movie with sharks. More Aliens than Alien. Meg was the same, which I'm fine with, except there wasn't enough suspense.

artiswar 01.20.19	Deep Blue Sea is ultra campy but there's definitely a few scary moments if you have a shark phobia like me. The Meg just did nothing for me, then again I'm not the target audience. It'd be like me complaining about a Transformers movie.

Almost every single one of my actual nightmares as a child involved me playing something like the part of Newt hiding from a horde of monsters (that were usually giant spiders). This continued until high school and the night before my board exams (the equivalent of the A-Levels) where I had a nightmare about being on a lunar base fighting off a horde of lunar werewolves that all had the face of my high school principal. For the first time in one of these dreams I actually fought back and won. Woke up, completely free of stress, aced my exams, and never had monster dreams again. xD

DrGonzo1937 01.20.19	"Thomas Jane will always be the true Punisher." Yeah, it's so unfortunate he was given a film with a bad vision. His "Dirty Laundry" short is fantastic. Had he been given a film to work with that does the character justice he'd have nailed it. This show irks the hell out of me though; it gets even the fundamental basics of the character wrong. I think the only thing I liked out of the first season was his relationship with Micro. I know he's not the easiest character to translate to the medium, but when it's this wrong... I've just started Season 2 and the babysitting arc, along with chatting up barmaids, has proven the writers know fuck all about the character.

Atari 02.10.19	Season 2 started off strong but I’m halfway through and it’s not been as great Loved the first season though. And Daredevil was insanely good
