ZombieToyDuck 01.14.19	When I was in elementary school a few of my friends and I attempted bloody mary at my parent's house in the bathroom and they locked me in after we took all the steps and it worked on me while I was in there by myself. Next day I found bruises that lined up with fingerprints on my right leg, so that's my crazy experience.

Deathconscious 01.14.19	when i was 18 i think, my ladyfriend begged me to stay with her at her house one night. i had school the next morning, but her grandparents and her mom (all of whom lived there) werent going to be there, and she didnt want to be there alone because supposedly it was haunted. i didnt really believe in ghosts, and skipping school sounded like a good time to me, so i agreed to come over. her house was in a rural area so the house had a long driveway surrounded by trees that led to the house. the deck had these big lamps that lit up the area and cast all these shadows that made the house and surrounding area look creepy as fuck. they had this big garage separate from the house and the lights were off when we got there. later on we went out on the deck and the lights were on. nobody was there but us. anyways, im getting ahead of myself. so we went inside and it was even creepier. there were porcelain dolls and mirrors and shit all over the place. it was straight out of a horror movie. nothing happened until we were lying down. she fell asleep and then i started hearing these footsteps going up and down the hall all fucking night. i did not sleep at all that night.
Deathconscious 01.14.19	one time some time in my grade school years i was sleeping over at my friend's house. we were chilling up in his room playing video games. it was probably like 1 in the morning. then we heard this super fucking loud crashing sound from downstairs. like it sounded like a giant tower of plates had fallen over. my friend woke up his dad and he looked around downstairs and in the basement, and absolutely nothing was out of place.
Deathconscious 01.14.19	alright, last one i think. this might be the weirdest one: my friend and i were hanging out near his house by the woods getting stoned. at some point we noticed this deep sound. it sounded like a giant heartbeat. then we noticed this green glowing light pulsing from somewhere in the woods where the sound was coming from, getting brighter and dimmer with the sound. we started walking toward it, but after a couple minutes of getting closer and closer the light and the sound stopped.

I tend to think that if you don't have an explanation for a phenomena, it's a little silly to speculate on possible explanations for it. You either have good reason to believe something or you don't. Considering the impact that your culture, your upbringing, and your personal biases bring to the table, it seems better to practice intellectual honesty and admit when you don't know why something happened.
Lord(e)Po)))ts 01.14.19	i have one more weird one once in calgary there was this really surreal episode of 'heat lightening' i guess its referred to as. but it was way too massive and close to make any sense for you to not be able to hear the thunder and it was virtually happening in slow motion. basically me and my buddy were chilling in this field and we were surrounded 360 degrees by the most perfectly silent, intense lightening storm i've ever seen, and the lightening bolts were going so slowly and sporadicly you could basically watch them draw themselves. the weather was completely still. then this creepy fucking giant wild hare came out of nowhere into the field and up to us about a stones throw away and just sat there and fucking stared at us for like an hour straight, unmoving. was creepy and also very cool

garas 01.14.19	The "moan" thing was interesting, but I'm sure those are fake. I mean I heard lots of ambient noise albums which are very similar - it's not that hard to edit it to a shitty video. People do many things for a small internet fame~

(heavy door opening (what looked to be)by itself, and one time a flash of light illuminated a room me and a bunch of my friends were in that we couldn't explain easily, I think it was the sun reflecting off a passing truck but idk) my experiences with sleep paralysis gave me some real insight as to why people believe in ghosts / alien abductions also saw that huge blue missile test / ufo over San Diego in 2015

I got moved to a different block once and for like the first week, every time I woke up in the morning, the lights in my room would all be on despite me sleeping with all the lights off (I can't sleep in bright places). I thought room service was fucking with me or something lmao I was a teacher and my students who lived in what turned out to be that same block used to tell me freaky stories about it and I just used to laugh at them. my friend also got moved there with me and he would tell me that he would come back to his room with the TV on despite knowing for a fact it wasn't on when he left. some weird shit

When you grow up in the midwest and fun conversations about ghost sightings turn into stories about demonic possession which turn into conversations about how homosexuals are literally causing supernatural deaths, and talking about stuff we have literally zero real evidence for besides personal anecdotes gets less fun. I realize that stuff seems overblown to people on the outside, and what I'm doing seems like being a snobby wet blanket. Draw australia and NZ... yup you remember the old timeline, But I'm at the point where existence is weird enough for me. Like, looking at the moon, or having the cat sleep on my chest, it's all astounding. I remember being fascinated with lake monsters and other cryptids when I was a boy. Storm In A Teacup 01.15.19	I had friends over at my grandparents 4,000 square foot house and one friend seemed disturbed then went outside. Then I saw a bunch of blue orbs shimmer over my dining table flashing in and out of existence. I went outside to ask my friend why they were acting weird and before I can ask my friend starts telling me he saw a bunch of weird blue orbs come to life in my dining room. I lived there for another year and only ever got pictures of orbs. The scariest experience I had there was by myself and my phone had a ghost app turned on and it said aloud "stairs" followed half a econd later by this huge crashing sound coming right from the staircase (which has a trap door on the side of the first flight of stairs leading to a small room underneath. As soon as that crash happened I ran out of the house and stayed the night at a friends. People always told me they felt like they were being watched from the upstairs window when they were coming and going and I often felt that too. I don't know man people are crazy and create their own realities but that house was a trip the years I lived there.
