Saros 01.14.19	The Switch last year wasn't nearly as good as 2017 aside from Smash and Bayonetta 1+2 ports but this year is looking to be pretty good. New Fire Emblem, a mainline non-Go Pokemon game and (hopefully) Metroid Prime 4 should all be great. I'm a little doubtful on Prime 4, but we'll see.
ramon. 01.14.19	fuck yea dude welcome to the pride, can't add you now as I'm at work but feel free to shoot me a req @ sw-7912-3951-1214 as for game recs, what sort of stuff do you like? a few safe cheap picks I'd throw at anyone would be Celeste, Gorogoa, Oxenfree, and Grim Fandango. the Bayonetta titles are definitely excellent choices as far as triple A is concerned, and the most similar title I could recommend to them would probably be Furi which is quite good.

Slex 01.14.19	The Messenger is awesome. Mario Odyssey is super weak until the end. Ultimate is already one of my favorite games ever and pretty much all I play anymore.
ramon. 01.14.19	valkyria chronicles 4, child of light, west of loathing, and lacrimosa are all super dope rpgs. I haven't played really any strategy games bar into the breach on switch but that one is very very good and pretty damn hard. as for platformers, donkey kong country tropical freeze, hollow knight, any of the shantae games, iconoclasts, shovel knight, steam world dig 2, would all be more than worth the coin. that being said, there are several dozen really fantastic platformers on the switch so you aren't lacking for options in that category.

ramon. 01.14.19	Rosa and Luma's fundamental kit is nerfed but people have figured out some ridiculously wild tech that allows for basically infinites. Not as high tier as they were in Smash 4 right now but the new tech makes me think they'll still do well in tournament once players master their combos. Considerably harder to play now.

I gotta add my two cents worth and say that Octopath Traveler is amazing, you def can’t go wrong with that one, also they just put out a port of The World Ends With You. I've owned every Nintendo system except for a GameCube over my lifetime (idk if SNES Classic counts but fuck it) so I guess I'm a nintendo dude which reminds me, yesterday I booted up my Wii u that I found recently and tried smash 4, holy shit it feels so different. it feels like how brawl felt after we played smash 4 for a while

Saros 06.30.19	I missed out on the first Mario Maker due to skipping the Wii U, so I might give the new one a shot. I was going to get Bloodstained originally, but after hearing reports of the Switch version having a ton of problems, I held off on it. Oh well.
Uzumaki 06.30.19	I putzed around with the first Mario Maker, and it’s not bad, but I could never get into a mindset to properly build a stage. Enjoyed playin the hell out of other people’s stages. PangaeaPanga’s stages are a total mindfuck tho.
