bloc 12.19.18	Depending on the lift, I tend to hold my breath over the course of several reps. Helps to stay tight and safe. Try it over a few reps of benching or something and over time it could really build up your endurance , without having to do cardio.

bloc 12.19.18	Depends on the lift. I may not necessarily inhale or exhale during the entire movement of one rep and only do so at the "top" of the movement (or in between reps only). I have been doing that valsalva maneuver thing for a while and it works really well.

bloc 12.19.18	Especially with benching and squatting I always feel a collapsing sensation when exhaling during the rep. I'd rather hold my breath for the entire rep (i.e. brace) and just take a breath at the top when necessary. If I feel sturdy enough to do a second rep without taking a breath then so be it.

Relinquished 12.19.18	yea idk about exhaling DURING the rep. that's where you'd feel the way you do and won't have that physical support you'd have with the inhale+brace on the start of the rep. if I'm exhaling during the rep, either I'd cuz I'm doing some endurance training where there's counting involved and the weight is doable.
