Other metal I liked a lot that just missed out on top 100 billing: - Mekong Delta, Dances of Death - God Dethroned, Bloody Blasphemy - Odium, The Sad Realm of the Stars - Blut Aus Nord, Ultima Thulee - Electric Wizard, Come My Fanatics - Tiamat, Wild Honey - Burzum, Det Som Engang Var - Cornoner, Mental Vortex - Death, The Sound of Perseverance - Helmet, Strap it On (not really metal but sort of) - Attomica, Disturbing the Noise - Agalloch, Pale Folklore - 3rd and the Mortal, Tear Laid in Earth Dunno if any of those meet your approval more...or we share no overlap in metal most likely

That's one of the most recent discoveries on the list so need to revisit.

TwigTW 12.07.18	I'm already behind, just started list #1... the albums I know are great (Morphine and Kitchens of Distinction, especially), so I'll be checking out the rest over the weekend.
DoofDoof 12.07.18	Rabid - The lead singer/song writer Benjamin Smoke was an interesting character, they made an acclaimed documentary about his last few weeks alive before succumbing to AIDS, hard to track down though. His music, esp the vocals/lyrics, take a while to grow on you - one of those where you have to like his personality to get into the band and that took me a while. Some funny lines among his lyrics.
DoofDoof 12.07.18	Twig are you still listening to The Bathers? I picked up a copy of the Bloomsday side project album (in at 71on the list above) and went on discogs to secure copies of the '80s debut and Lagoon Blues. Still obsessed with them.
TwigTW 12.07.18	Yes! Still making my way through the Bathers Discog. I got stuck on Sunpowder (because of Cocteau Twins vocals), but every album is subtly great in its own way. Still can't believe they didn't find a larger audience in the 90s... I haven't gone near the side projects yet, will definitely check 71.

TwigTW 12.12.18	There are some nice electronics I didn't know on this list: Photek, Amon Tobin, and Lustmond. I like the more ambient The Place Where The Dark Stars Hang, but Heresy really grabbed me.
