Sunnyvale
11.20.18 | Ranking 2 through 4 was especially tough. |
Snake.
11.20.18 | 2 > 1 = 6 > 4 > 3 > 9 > 5
god there's so much more i need to check yet we still need more tac |
Ecnalzen
11.20.18 | I've only heard 3 and 5. I liked them both but I guess not quite enough to go further into their discog. |
Sunnyvale
11.20.18 | Band rules. And Ecnalzen, fair enough, but I'd definitely check 1 and 2 if you get the chance. Very different albums from each other. |
Ecnalzen
11.20.18 | Will do.
I think I have only heard the more post rock side of them and I think someone told me their earlier stuff is very different, too. |
Sunnyvale
11.20.18 | Yep, they've been pretty varied throughout their career. Mare Vitalis is a top-notch post-rock influenced emo album, Low Level Owl is a more ambitious, ambient/post-rock/indie/emo combination. |

12.03.21 | Solid rating. "Illumination Ritual" is definitely their best work post "Peregrine"! Best band! I'd probably put "Two Conversations" above "Peregrine" and have "Ring Wars" at 7. |
WatchItExplode
12.03.21 | I feel like Peregrine is their most digestible work, and probably my favorite as a result. I like all of their albums to some degree (all that I've heard anyway), but consider most of it mood and atmospheric music. Not stuff I actively seek out. When they hit, they hit deep though. |
Sunnyvale
12.03.21 | Haha, I clicked on this wondering if it was my list from years ago. It is indeed |
Sunnyvale
12.03.21 | Glad to see some Peregrine love, album seems generally underrated in discussion of this band |
