Here are some of the records I fell in love with while I was simultaneously watching an anime show. As a result, these records turned into my personal soundtracks for the show.
interesting list. 4, 14, 15, 16, and 19 make a lot of sense. i was jamming a fair bit of venetian snares around the time i first watched no game no life so i always think about that show whenever something off of doll doll doll comes on. chon's first demo and usagi drop is another one. there are already uncountable links one can make between princess mononoke and ocarina of time but i watched princess mononoke for the first time round about the time i first jammed the OoT OST in full so the two entities are pretty much intrinsically linked for me at this point.
Updated again. Watched I Want To Eat Your Pancreas last night and I'm just shattered. I had to listen to the one album that 1. Fit its theme and 2. Could help soothe my sickening depression after watching it. I still don't feel too well.
