| REC Me some Reggae Metal!
This genre is a bit of a "strange bird" or oddity, and is indeed a rarity. However, I hear that there are more Reggae Metal bands out there in addition to my top 7 below. Let me know if you have any Recs in addition to the below. | 7 | | Eyesburn Reality Check
Aware of this band, but don't know their whole discography. | 6 | | (hed) p.e. Evolution
One never knows what you get with a Hed (pe) album. In this case, reggae in the last three tracks. Also aware of Jahred's Unite EP. | 5 | | The Urge Master of Styles
Hard to nail down this band... a bit of Reggae thrown in with ska, punk, metal and much more. | 4 | | P.O.D. Testify
They employ this style on select tracks. And when they do, it is tight. | 3 | | 311 Transistor
At the time, it was hard to believe that this album followed up their rap-metal self-titled album and opus. But I appreciate it (much more) now. | 2 | | Dub War Pain
First heard Benjii Webbe on Soufly's first album. Was hooked in thereafter. He rounds out both #1 and #2 on this list. | 1 | | Skindred Roots Rock Riot
Also dig their first album "Babylon" | |

08.13.18 | Not really metal, but check out Lionize. Super good | JDubb
08.13.18 | Took a listen to Lionize...pretty good! Also, there are definitely some Twelve Foot Ninja and Ninjaspy songs with some reggae influence. Found a band called Insolence, that hits hard like Skindred (but with a bit more punk influence). Any more Recs out there? | tyman128
