| My Formative Years: Late 80's and Early 90's
We all have formative years in our childhood, which help shape our musical tastes and preferences for years to come. Prior to the late 1980's and early 1990's, my parents or the radio were the driving force in my musical interest. It was often a mix of country rock (Alabama, Eagles) from my father, with 80's pop or Bon Jovi from my mother. Starting in the late 1980's, I took the "bull by the horns" and forged my own path, purchasing my own tapes and CDs, and dove headfirst into heavy rock. These are the 15 albums that helped guide my path. Please feel free to comment; but honestly, these albums are what they are. I would love to say that, at this time, I was more steeped in Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Dio, and the like, but that was not the case (and to come later). | | 15 |  | Whitesnake
