Best of Kyuss and Beyond
This list provides a ranking of my top 25 Kyuss albums and off-shoot albums by or including former Kyuss members (i.e., John Garcia, Josh Homme, Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri, Scott Reeder, etc.).
A few notes. As a whole, I have attempted to exclude EPs (no "Sons of Kyuss" or Kyuss - "Spilt EP"), live albums (no Hermano - "Live at W2" or Masters of Reality - "Flak 'n' Flight"), and compilations (no Kyuss - "Muchas Gracias"), as great as those are. Similarly, this list focuses more on stoner rock/desert rock...so albums that stray too far away from that sound (e.g., Eagles of Death Metal, Scott Reeder - "Tunnelvision Brilliance") are not included. Also, if the album was not formally released (sorry Unida - "The Great Divide"), it was not included.
