All I remember was getting earache from the pool, the heat being unbearable with the pain of the earache, no fan or air con so being told to wrap in cold wet sheets (no). It was like being dropped in a dust bowl with a bunch of other suckered brits. Prob a really interesting country if you escape the resorts, has rainforest, mountains, the lot. Think I would have been 22? 23?

Also the whole sunni vs. Shiite thing causes lots of discrimination if you happen to be a minority believer in of the sects. Saudi Arabia won’t even let a jew set foot in the country. Israel is at least 1/4 Arab, even if they do treat them like shit
Sinternet 05.03.18	israel is really not great, I have family there and they just want all that shit to be over with, especially the sending the army to kill kids protesting part and iran is fucked up and so is turkey both should be way lower down, at least in comparison to jordan and uae which, while they have their own problems are somewaht alright for the region egypt is an iffy one, my uncle is egyptian and during the arab spring he said it was horrific, he got maced while protesting the Muslim Brotherhood and was left unconscious after being beaten round the head and wasn't found for 6 or 7 hours, however its somewhat more stable atm
