There is something about the old sound of synthpop that just sounds horribly dated. I can't bring myself into liking this.

There is a fine line between cutesy and obnoxious. This record definitely failed to pass that line for me. The childlike innocence that resonates within the vocal does not meet the expectation of its theme. This record seems to go all over the place to me. While there are definitely some 'fun' moments in this album, it still comes out as uninteresting to me.

This record is equivalent to rough anal, which is actually my fetish when I'm giving, not receiving. This one is like getting both.

I get that seeing Perfume and KPP on top really baited you into rec-ing me something cutesy. Despite that this is an accurate definition of cutesy, I found this record to be lacking in focus and often getting overly saturated with each elements that it brings. Whether it's the production or the cutesy Japanese verses. It could be a fun listen, but not as enjoyable that I thought it would.

This album is like the darker side of pop. I initially struggled to find anything remotely pop about this. The whole album is hypnotizing, eerie, and ice cold. It really sends the chills down my spine in certain moment. It's dope, but not the thing that I'm looking for the most.
