Sounding the Seventh Trumpet
There’s nothing here that i like, really. Streets is cool, and Darkness Surrounding is a pretty great track.
That’s it though.

Avenged Sevenfold
One of their weakest efforts in my opinion. It lacks a lot of the energy of their other stuff, and despite a few great tracks, comes off as boring. Hail To The King is consistently just good, while this completely loses my interest most of the time.

Hail to the King
Finally decided to give this a chance, and i honestly think it’s underrated. The only real weak aspect is the drumming because it’s so incredibly boring. Aside from that, the songs are catchy and have some nice melodies. Not exactly their best work, but i enjoyed it way more than i expected.

Waking the Fallen
This used to be my favorite A7x album, but i’ve since fallen out of love with it. The standout tracks are spectacular, but there’s a lot of filler, and it well overstays its welcome.

Diamonds in the Rough
I always disliked the self titled album, but the outtakes album Diamonds In The Rough is fantastic, and one of their best collections of songs.

Nightmare
First physical album i ever bought. I listened to this all through High School, and it’s such a damn good album.

City of Evil
So much energy and not a single filler track to be found here. This thing changed my life back in the day, and it still holds up fantastically.

The Stage
I’m shocked by how much this album grew on me. Nostalgia aside, i genuinely believe this is their best and most realized work to date, incorporating all of their sounds into one package while sounding inspired and passionate.
