Saor's barking vocals are not great, not the worst, but honestly I don't think they compliment the music very well. Most ill fitting vocalist for me might be the guy from Be'lakor, and most frustrating for me is from Lehto on October Falls' metal albums. He does this weird sort of whisper scream, and I have to ignore it:

They waited til AFTER I left to stop trying out vocalists who don't want to play power/trash and stop playing the same 6 goddamn songs over and over in effort to help people learn. they had a dude but he left right before one of their early tours. nobody ever actually wrote the original lyrics down, so Brent and Troy basically came up with new ones on a napkin the night-of. guess it kinda stuck and it worked out alright. |
