| August Burns Red Ranked
I have always admired and respected ABR as my favorite Metal-Core band. I love their talent, messages, and vision that they have. I'm going to rank all of their 6 studio albums, this is going to be tough. | | 1 | | August Burns Red Constellations
My favorite ABR album and for many reasons. Constellations is the best metal-core album we had in years. Released in 2009 on Solid State Records, this album gained a huge following, it is well respected. The reason why this is my favorite is because how each song continues to blow me away. Writing, instrumentation, production, and each song flows so perfectly together. It's aggressive, emotional, and well established. It's one of the best albums released in the past 10 years.
Favorite Songs:
Paradox
Indonesia
Ocean of Apathy | | 2 | | August Burns Red Rescue & Restore
Rescue and Restore is a fantastic record. From it's catchy songs, guitar solos, production, Rescue & Restore serves as the band's signature sound. Rescue & Restore shows ABR growth as a band, and it's pretty exciting the albums that they are going to release in the future.
Favorite Songs:
Provision
Spirit Breaker
Beauty in Tragedy | | 3 | | August Burns Red Leveler
Solid album all the way through. It's one of their most well rounded and crafted. I love how each song pours out so much energy and depth. It's an album you can just listen to all the way through. Breakdowns are on point, and they are starting to come more mature with their sound.
Favorite Songs:
Internal Cannon
Poor Millionaire
Pangaea | | 4 | | August Burns Red Found in Far Away Places
Really fun record, it's a bit more prog with a mixture of different elements. I love how creative this album is. It has great songs. They still managed to be different but still has that atmosphere since their formation. Found in Far Away Places is one of the best albums to start out with.
Favorite Songs:
Identity
Martyr
Broken Promises | | 5 | | August Burns Red Messengers
Messengers is a great record don't get me wrong. It's filled with amazing breakdowns, I just like the other ones a little bit more. Messengers is straight to the point, everything from it's musicianship, energy, and insane moments.
Favorite Songs:
Back Burner
Up Against The Ropes
The Eleventh Hour | | 6 | | August Burns Red Thrill Seeker
Thrill Seeker is a great record, it's a lot different then their more recent material but listenable, it's the only album that doesn't have Jake and Dustin, but still worth checking out. It's fast paced, heavy, and aggressive. especially being 18-20 years when they recorded this record.
Favorite songs:
Barbarian
Your Little Suburbia Is In Ruins

06.21.17 | Messengers and Constellations are my favorites, but I rarely listen to anything else from them these days.
I'll usually check out the occasional new album that drops but they've gone far off my radar since high school. | chinesewhispers
