Tracklist Remix: Blur - Think Tank

One of my all time favorite albums but bafflingly some of the songs they recorded with Graham were cut. No songs on the original tracklist are removed but the order has changed around a fair bit to make it a bit more consistent. I'd imagine this to be a double LP so i have listed out when each side starts and ends
1Blur
Think Tank

Me, White Noise
To open up side one we open the album with the pregap song Me, White Noise. No better way to open the record.
2Blur
Think Tank

Ambulance
This paired with MWN opens up the album perfectly.
3Blur
Think Tank

Crazy Beat
This had to go somewhere. Figured it would fit best in the first half but it's not mellow enough for the 2nd side or experimental enough for the 3rd side
4Blur
Think Tank

Out of Time
The 2nd side is going to be more mellow than the first. Felt this was the most fitting way to open it
5Blur
Think Tank

Moroccan People's Revolutionary Bowsl Club
Doesn't fit in with the mellower stuff as well but it fits pretty nicely here
6Blur
Think Tank

Good Song
7Blur
Think Tank

Caravan
8Blur
Think Tank

Gene By Gene
This would be the closer for the first disc. While not as mellow as most of the 2nd side it fits in pretty well and wraps it up pretty well. And when listening to it in one fluent listen it transitions into On the Way pretty well
9Blur
Think Tank

On the Way to the Club
Side 3 is the more experimental side of the album and this opens it up perfectly.
10Blur
Think Tank

Brothers and Sisters
11Blur
Think Tank

Morricone
One of the b-sides that was cut from it that features Graham. This is one of the most African influenced cuts from these sessions and it's fucking amazing. Graham's guitar work enhances the African feel so much
12Blur
Think Tank

We've Got a File On You
This side gradually increases in intensity so putting the fastest song on the album right before the album's climax is the most fitting place
13Blur
Think Tank

The Outsider
Another Graham b-side and the climax of the record. The African influence is turned up all the way on this one and the dark undertones paired with Graham's guitarwork make this an absolute trip. Maybe my favorite Blur song. No clue how it was cut
14Blur
Think Tank

Sweet Song
Side 4 is a cool down. Song is fucking gorgeous
15Blur
Think Tank

Jets
Super cool as the penultimate track
16Blur
Think Tank

Battery in Your Leg
No other way to end the album than with this
