Greatest English Band

Should we even attempt, the list can go for awhile, Now that we shown the shame of American bands. list is top 5 for me today, not in order
1The Rolling Stones
Let It Bleed

I take the stones over the Beatles just on the balls the Stones have
2Iron Maiden
Somewhere In Time

The quintessential metal band
3Black sabbath
Vol. 4

can any more be said about the kings
4Genesis
Selling England by the Pound

Gabrial era of course
5Motorhead
Another Perfect Day

not on most peoples lists but I think they have been not only a band for 30 odd years but had a huge influence on punk and thrash, and Lemmy is one of the coolest rock stars in history

Of course I have left out some super heavy weights, Beatles, Zep, Floyd, punk, but like I said today this is my list, could we break it down to years or genres, would be hard to do as well, either way England has such the upper hand in music from any other country. IMO
