Frippertronics 04.26.17	okay should repeat myself with every single one of your demos/albums,etc. : fix your drums that is all i'm asking. the classical influence is obvious, but to call this post-rock is quite the stretch. It doesn't necessarily contain the typical post-rock cliches but the demo doesn't really go anywhere.
Frippertronics 04.26.17	And I know it's a bit unfair to rag on how cheap the strings sound, but it'd be better if you didn't have the silly choir effects over it

Frippertronics 04.26.17	@Snide it's similar to what I described on your last LP, they just sound tinny. When they need to be crisp-sounding, they're shrill and when they need to have power, they plod along. It's an example of why I think dynamics are probably the weakest aspect of your music in general. I don't know if you have actual drums or if they're midi. In the case that it is midi, I suppose tinkering with equalization or other effects could help this, but in the case that it's actual drums I'd advise trying a different set up or experimenting with your drum sound.

Snide 04.26.17	@Fripp: They're MIDI, I don't have an actual drum kit (only music of mine that uses real drums is my full band which I haven't released anything for yet). I was thinking about using the same settings from my Death of Empathy project drum-wise for this (idk if you heard that demo, but the drum sound was very well received), but I didn't feel that tone fit.
