Snide: Sputnik Dream Journal

Snide 03.21.17	In my last dream I was walking through a place called Back Bay (little wooded reserve with a bay next to it a couple cities over from where I live) and for some reason my right arm was a literal anvil, and I just kept knocking over trees. Whenever I knocked over a tree, the anvil got heavier but also easier for me to lift (no idea how that made sense but whatever it was in my dream), then the ground just opened up and I was falling towards random ice spikes and I just woke up afterwords.

UndineParty 03.21.17	i've had a dream where me and my sister where at a chuckie cheese type place and for some reason we both went down into a staircase into like a basement area and my sister tried stabbing me or something, so I shot her with a gun and ran to her car and when i got in the car helicopters were already over head looking for me. I've had a dream about a creepy mall and haunted apartment that reoccurred at least 2-3 times and for some reason it always felt oddly familiar. I've had a dream I fell off a billboard sign I had another dream I fell off a freeway and could actually feel myself falling to my death :) woke up before hitting the ground I've had some about shattered teeth and being pantsless in public my dreams are fked

Papa Universe 03.21.17	I have a gutload of them and I almost always remember, so I always write them down when I wake up, whatever I remember I document. The thing is, I noticed, that I only visit approximately 20 different places and then explore them from every angle and perspective. I rarely see any sort of narrative or something like that. I just observe things happening in different locations. Sometimes I think that two different dreams have nothing to do with each other, but then in a third one I find a pathway from one to another and it turns out it is all one location and I just didn't realise it before. I've explored these places and events within so much now that I started developing a story and writing scripts about it. I'm planning on writing a series about it. I don't expect any success, it's rather for myself. I call it Plotlessness Blues (reference to Helplessness Blues by Fleet Foxes).

ScuroFantasma 03.21.17	Haven't had any exceptionally interesting ones for a little while, probably the most memorable was when I fell off a cliff or something - I mainly remember falling onto a desert-y rocky surface. Generally I wake up before I hit the ground when I fall but this time I didn't. Full on hit the ground. When I hit I sorta rolled/bounced from the impact, things broke and everything went dark (which is weird), I could still feel my body too. Remained like that for a short while and then (hard to explain feeling like internally assessing damage or something) and the feeling built til I panicked a bit and woke up.

rabidfish 03.21.17	Had a dream I was with a friend after a party and we took a taxi home and the driver was his stray father (a junkie and a genrally bad person IRL) and he got mad at me cuz he thought I was trying to reunite them but it was all a huge coincidence. Afterwards the man breaks into my home and starts making a riot about how he doesn't need his family and I get scared cuz he's obviously on coke and what else and seems dangerous and my family is in the building but I also feel deeply sorry for him. Don't remember the rest of the dream but it was weird cuz the morning after I get a message from my friend (the one in the dream) that his father tried to sue him for trying to put him on rehab. Weeeeeiiiiirrrrddd.

EphemeralEternity 03.21.17	the problem is A) They have his wallet (home adress etc) so his reluctant to get the cops involved and doesn't want the risk of retaliation B) chance things could go very wrong if we rally up a gang and head there with the intention to beat them to the verge of death - either we get arrested in the act, jabbed with a infected syringe, beaten and all end up in bins ourselves C) doesn't know their address, he got knocked out while trying to buy just a few pills of ecstacy from a guy hed never met and says suddenley 2 meth fiends entered the scene and next thing he woke up in a dumpster with a pillow tied around his head, he thinks his cheekbone is fratured too they beat him pretty good. he's real luck he didn't asphyxiate As much as we all love to put these scum in the dirt i think the only thing he can do is try to get insurance to cover new vehicle, get an x-ray and try to move on.

Snide 04.01.17	@Ephemeral: It wasn't anything too bad. My car broke down last night and it was just a hassle to get all of my friends who were with me in my car home, along with getting the car to Pep Boys. Turns out my battery died, and that was a whopping 150 that I had to pay this morning.

Snide 04.01.17	Yeah, I had to make sure my friends got home safe then I had to get home to drop some stuff off, change into my work clothes and take an uber back to the pep boys where my car was towed to wait for the battery change, then I had to drive straight from there to work.
