| Black Malachite Debut Redux
I've now been making music (music that I've been releasing) for about two years across various different projects; however there's always one work of mine that I've always felt a special connection with, and that's my debut Black Malachite album "Distortion World." Since its release back in the middle of 2016 I've been slowly tweaking songs around, replacing some songs entirely with new versions, reordering, and even completely cutting tracks out. After almost a year of tweaks, I feel as though this new version of Distortion World is what the original should have been. It's 12 tracks long, and I'm releasing it on my birthday, April 9th. | | 1 |  | Black Malachite

Redux'd tracks are tracks where I've either completely changed the layout of a song, scratched the song all together with a new version, or changed enough of it to where it's too different from the original to be considered a remaster. | | 3 | | Black Malachite

Remastered tracks are tracks that I felt weren't in too much need of changing, but I went through and replaced minimal sounds, edited volume levels, removed distracting fx with ones that flowed far more naturally, added small instrumental accompaniments, and many other such things. | | 4 | | Black Malachite

Distortion World is still honestly my favorite piece of work as a whole that I've ever done, but I felt that it could have been much, much better. It's kinda my way of making amends for rushing shit, and to keep myself from getting stir crazy on my fourth album. | talktothehead
