Spacesh1p 02.08.17	I cook quite a bit. Mostly vegetarian food with my girlfriend which is surprisingly good. Best advice I can give is keep it simple at first. If you start playing with too many spices and shit you'll fuck up quickly (as you have seen). That's the hardest part of cooking, in my opinion - learning how to balance out flavors from herbs and spices. The actual cooking process generally speaking isn't too hard. For meat, just take it out before you think it's done and let carry over heat do the rest. You can always cook longer if you need to.

It's actually quite easy to get enough protein being vegan, most Americans eat way too much protein and it just turns to fat. Also didn't really want to get into this but there's always some asshole that brings it up, there's very little nutrition in dairy dude, it's calorie dense and only has a couple vitamins, that are by the way very easily replaceable

Spacesh1p 02.08.17	I'll eat out once or twice per week depending on how much I have going on at work but cooking is fun and cheaper. Doing it by yourself can feel like a chore though so it helps to be able to hang with my gf while I'm doing it.

I try to meal prep on Sundays and throw everything in the freezer, but it's just not the same as a just-out-of-the-oven meal. Made some kick ass stuffed mushrooms last weekend that were a huge hit at a potluck. Also made a lasagna the other night, my boyfriend said it was good, but he's not picky at all (thank god).
