Funeralopolis 01.17.17	"speaking of, did anyone play the gen 3 remakes? interested in checking it out when i'm done with sun/moon bc it's one of my fave gens but i feel like no one talks about the remakes at all" Gen 3 remakes are amazing, they put in all the content from those games plus the newer pokemon up to gen 3. They add a whole new mini-region, battle tower and the ability to rebattle almost any trainer allowing for endless hours of post-game training. This level of quality was never present in any of the other lazy remakes.
Astral Abortis 01.17.17	Soul Silver and Heart Gold were the best remakes, objectively, because they were based on the objectively best games the series ever saw.

Astral Abortis 01.17.17	Diamond and Pearl still look great. I wouldn't say any Pokemon game looks dated. Even the originals hold up in terms of playability despite their flaws. The worst gen is obviously X and Y, those games were unparalleled trash.
Snide 01.17.17	X and Y had their moments but they were painfully underdeveloped. At least the Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire remakes were lit as hell though. Sun and Moon is honestly one of the best in the series, only reason it's not "THE" best is because of the omission of the national dex (meaning we have to wait till Pokebank is released), and a somewhat lacking postgame once you get the ultra beasts / necrozma

Snide 01.17.17	I'm completely serious, Gen 1 was completely lacking. Only 60 or so of the original 151 Pokemon had solid designs, it was glitched to hell, Kanto as a region was uninteresting, and there was no story. Also the battle mechanics were seriously lacking.
Astral Abortis 01.17.17	Gen 1 is probably second worst after X and Y, because Gen 1 was full of balancing flaws, bugs and lack of development. They're still classic and highly nostalgic games for me but they're really nothing compared to everything that followed. Except X and Y. Fuck X and Y.

IronGiant 01.17.17	Gen 1 is my least favorite. Gen 2 is easily my favorite generation, mostly because Silver was the first game I played. Objectively, the best games though are the gen 2 remakes and emerald (the battle frontier is the unparalleled king of post-game in any Pokemon game EVER, including Rangers, Mystery Dungeon, Conquest, etc.)
Joeman82 01.17.17	My favorite gen is 3. Great main games and some great spin offs too. 4 was good but the game speed was way too slow and the dex in d/p had serious problems.

Well if you remember Black and White 2 released on the DS when the 3ds was still out, so it is possible that the pokemon company is developing it for the 3ds, however, I think Nintendo is working with them to make sure that they don't release another pokemon on the 3ds, it's very unlikely. They ahve to put all their eggs in the switch.

Joeman82 01.17.17	D/P only had two fire type lines and they STILL MADE A FIRE TYPE ELITE FOUR MEMBER. Too be fair the concept of a team having fire moves instead of all fire types to make the fight more challenging is a concept I can get down with, but still that's horrid dex design. I wasn't happy with omega ruby and alpha sapphire, but I really didn't like gen 6 as a whole. Gen 7 is much better so maybe the remake will be better idk.

Cygnatti 01.18.17	ORAS was kinda disappointing. the game was beautiful and flying on latios and latias was awesome and the whole rayquaza quest series was great, but the lack of post-game content was like wtffffff
