Storm In A Teacup
01.07.17 | nas is great |

01.07.17 | for sure, 9 solid-to-amazing albums and one that gets too much hate |
LambsBread
01.07.17 | "War" on Streets disciple is one of my favorite tracks of all time but yeah I remember most of that being filler, haven't listened to it in a long time.
Still never listened to untitled (aka/originally "The Nigger Tape") solely because the album title sounded really stupid |
tellah
01.08.17 | I really like Street's Disciple despite some cringey bars, the beats are solid.
untitled is definitely worth at least one listen edgy racial slur title or not. Although, I think Life is Good is the best modern Nas album. |
chinesewhispers
01.08.17 | 2 is waaayyyy too high
other than that seems legit |
LambsBread
01.08.17 | All your ratings are way too low
It was Written is a 5
Hip hop Is Dead is AT LEAST a 4, probably 4.5, same with Stillmatic
And worst of all is having I Am as a 3

You got hopsin, ASAP Ferg and future rated the same as I Am.. Cmon dude. If you gave someone who never heard hip hop I Am they would be blown away. You give em any of that other trash and they'll wonder if you're retarded

Storm In A Teacup
01.08.17 | Lambsbread: the Republican of hip hop because of how he gets up in arms over the smallest thing out of his zone |
StarlessCore
01.08.17 | @lambs future has 2 or 3 releases better than i am |
StarlessCore
01.08.17 | streets disciple is terrible
illmatic
it was written
bootleg misnomer title 'pre illmatic' compilation
lost tapes
gods son
stillmatic
rest of his studio output is trash |
GhostHead
01.08.17 | I agree with StarlessCore except I would put Stillmatic above God's Son. |
Storm In A Teacup
01.08.17 | Da fuq |
StarlessCore
01.08.17 | stillmatic and God's son r tied rlly. one could go over the other |

01.08.17 | Yeah |

01.08.17 | Street's Disciple is so catchy though. Solid beats and flows imo. I LIKE Hip-Hop is dead but it is a bit too corny in its concept for me to give it a 4. ASAP Ferg, Future and Nas are all pretty hard to compare (apples, oranges, and pears).
Honestly, I agree that I Am is leagues better than the Hopsin debut. I listened to that when I was a lot younger and am probably going to lower it down to a 2.5.
@StarlessCore what don't you like about Life is Good?

This is why no one over sixteen takes your opinion seriously. Nice hot take on an album that came out while you were swimming around in a nutsack, you totally understand its cultural relevance no doubt |

01.09.17 | are you okay? ^ |

01.09.17 | Rankings are good.
Ratings are way too low. Nas doesn't make albums that are below excellent. |
LambsBread
01.09.17 | Hip hop is dead was one of the best albums from 2000-2010 period. I really have no idea how you give that a 3.5 |
tellah
01.09.17 | it's a good album, probably interchangeable with untitled, but I didn't LOVE it. Some of the tracks (title track, who killed it?) are pretty cheesy imo |
LambsBread
01.09.17 | 99.9% chance you didn't get the concept behind that song |
Storm In A Teacup
01.09.17 | Hip hop is dead is a late 2000s hip hop classic |
tellah
01.09.17 | Regardless, my rating is an indication of how much I enjoyed it. Cultural significance doesn't really have an effect on my enjoyment. Feel free to explain the concept to me because apparently i'm clueless.
The 3.5 rating from me doesn't seem that out there considering the two reviews for HHID on sputnik |
