theBoneyKing 12.13.16	Personally, I mostly listen to music when I'm doing/procrastinating on doing homework and while walking around campus or to and from classes.

MarsKid 12.13.16	Anytime, really. When working, playing games, etc. My favorite time is when I can sit back, relax, and just delve completely into an album. I'll set aside time for that during the week. It's a great experience and really helps appreciate the music more and all that's happening within it.

MarsKid 12.13.16	Oh I always do full albums more so than playlists. There's a lot more value to jamming an entire CD in my opinion. Tho I do have a Spotify playist with my favorite albums, I'll shuffle em and jam that every once in a while.
theBoneyKing 12.13.16	For me it's like 95% full albums probably, I rarely even listen to my favorite songs from albums outside of the context of the full thing unless I only have time for a song or two.

Sometimes that craving extends to multiple songs and that will result in a playlist - occasionally I like to toy around with how well I can make songs by different artists flow into each other

MarsKid 12.14.16	I can't listen to music while reading. Breaks up the flow of the reading for me. Plus, when you go into a book, you enter into that particular book's world. An album generally has a totally different feel, unless you like queue up the exact, perfect disc for a certain novel. Otherwise you're jamming Abominable Putridity to Jane Austen or something. Maybe that'd work out for some people.
theBoneyKing 12.14.16	Dylan I got the classic about a year before Apple discontinued it, it won't last forever though and I can tell it's already on the way our (sometimes it's really slow or the scroller just doesn't work). I'm dreading the day it finally dies on me too because I'll lose that entire collection from my dad's digital library. Fortunately almost everything is on Spotify but it's just not quite the same.

theBoneyKing 12.14.16	MarsKid, I wouldn't want to listen to music while reading for pleasure, but I wish I could do it while reading for classes. Fortunately I do mostly math and science classes so I can listen to music while doing almost all of my work.

Chortles 12.14.16	pretty much listening to music or podcasts for most of my routine - walking to/from work, in the office, while cooking dinner, getting stoned, falling asleep etc etc similar to doof i have a bunch of playlists for when my gf is around as well. very effective
