ArtBox's Art Box Week 6: Ranking Beastwars' Artwork

Thought I'd do this early, since you guys are lovely and I totally don't have an essay due next week. Today we're doing New Zealand's most popular (?) sludge metal band, Beastwars. Today I'm also not being subjective at all, and this entire list can be rotated on a whim. Here's what it is today.
3Beastwars
The Death of All Things

The fact that THIS is my least favourite doesn't diminish it. Beastwars have fucking great taste. I got this on vinyl for someone else's birthday, and it looks even more beautiful. Blue phoenix rises from a graveyard of bones and Satan snakes, amidst the hellfire sky. Nothing represents the death of all things better than the resurrection of all things.

Look at it. What a fucking way to burst onto the music scene. "Hi, we're Beastwars, we obey the riff and our image is the image of a giant tree/alien thing, bursting through space and time onto the pyramids, parting the clouds like the Red Sea." This is just the outer artwork. I can only imagine the inner artwork of these albums. Maybe I should buy the other two I don't have on CD.

Blood Becomes Fire

Going through the Darksiders franchise recently has tainted my rankings this week. The Horseman of Death, gigantic skulls inside half-broken planets, the desolate desert wastelands... Let's be real, this looks fucking awesome. It's like if Lovecraft and Max Max had a disgusting yet awesome baby. I could absolutely imagine a fleet of cars across the desert wasteland, chasing or escaping oblivion under the malevolent eye of the gods fighting over the universe. This needs to be made. I would pay a lot of money to have that as a movie.
