Clearing the Xbox Backlog
With a responsible amount of irresponsibility, I've been avoiding work and going through the Xbox games on my shelf. Here's the ones most active.
List is random phrases and shit that's maybe related to the games. |
1 | | The New Year The End Is Near
Darksiders. Replaying this one after forgetting everything that happened in it. Re-bought it purely because I bought it with Darksiders 2, which I haven't played yet. Forgot how awesome this game was, can't wait to get back into the giant desert section. |
2 | | Triumph Surveillance
Crackdown. Police state superhuman open world bullshittery. Nice use of obvious police scapegoats. "Hear that loud music, Agent? That's obviously a den of crime! Go blow them up with the overpowered rocket launcher!" |
3 | | The KLF 1987 (What the Fuck Is Going On?)
Blinx the Time Sweeper. What the fuck is going on? Cat with time powers, that's what. Soundtrack is amazing, aesthetic is beautiful, gameplay is cool, camera is god awful. May get the sequel too. Then I can play as a biker pig. What a world we live in. |
4 | | Ennio Morricone The Hateful Eight
Red Dead Redemption. Another replay. Not much to say, one of the best games to ever use the Western setting. Up with Wild Arms and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. I've reminded myself how much I miss Wild Arms. And Oddworld. |
5 | | The Flaming Lips Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Zone of the Enders HD Collection. The robots aren't pink, but they do battle with convoluted control schemes. The voice acting ruins the seriousness of a small child trying to explain his morals to a computer. Then again, those morals are ruined every time I get behind the controls. Take that, naive young child who doesn't want to kill (more than necessary.) |
