09.06.16 | all prog is just 4/4 with the most generic and boring chord progressions and instruments. punk however experiments with foreign stringed instruments and drums like the balalaika to create an atmosphere of its own. 7/8 and 5/4 is also commonly used. besides, all prog songs are only 2-4 minutes while punk reaches 10 often, and even some 20 minutes. punk is just more complex and good in every way |
