There are no health problems stemming from a balanced vegetarian diet, (at least none that can't be easily mitigated with readily available supplements) therefor we are not "meant" to eat meat. It's a choice to eat meat.

guitarded_chuck 09.06.16	tbh i have no problem with vegetarians im an enviro sci major and did a lot of reading on the negative impacts of factory farming and that but personally im not willing to sacrifice my own health or wallet over it, you only live once
RadicalEd 09.06.16	"not efficiently" not AS efficiently. But more than efficiently enough. I never had any problems with my Iron, creatine or protein lvls. (yes I get my blood checked every 6 months) And I'm not sitting there eating 7 Eggs and 500g of nuts a day, in fact I don't even have to pay much attention to it at all. The only thing you pretty much have to supplement is Vitamin D. And you can get 50 pills for like 20 bucks and are good to go for 6 months. (And most people who eat meat also have a Vitamin D deficiency btw.) Like I said, no problem with eating meat instead. But I dislike the reflexive dismissal of a vegetarian diet based on pretty much nothing.

BallsDeep 09.06.16	The fact that we have evolved and rapidly progressed to our current lifestyle is pretty strong evidence that we weren't supposed to continue living in caves and dying at age 30. Think about it. Millions of years (hundreds of millions technically) of brain evolution has resulted in us now living longer, healthier, more comfortable lives. The fact that our stomachs contain all the necessary acids and whatnot to digest meat proves that humans were designed to be omnivores not herbivores, hell there are some point in history (ice ages etc) when meat may have been the only sustenance on offer
