08.01.16 | Cool list, I don't know if I'd say Deja has a very accepting vibe though. | failingnovelist
08.01.16 | More of a depression, isolation, and confusion of self vibe. | LotusFlower

08.01.16 | I would say TDAG is acceptance. Sowing Season represents clarity for sure. Not The Sun's bridge is a great example of acceptance. Daisy is definitely anger, no questions there. Give YFW Denial for being immature, childish, and young/early. Fight Off Your Demons definitely is bargaining. And Deja is depression for it's hopeless and self deprecating lyrics. | elliootsmeuth
08.02.16 | It was a bit of a toss up between TDAG and Deja, which is acceptance and which is depression. Play Crack the Sky was the tie breaker. The finality of that track just has such a laying old things to rest vibe. Also, TDAG gives off a more depressing atmosphere to me. The loss and religious conflict in a lot of the lyrics, to me at least, represent inner turmoil and dissatisfaction with life, which in turn represent depression more strongly than Deja does. The lyrics and atmosphere in Deja has no doubt depressive themes, but I personally feel that there is a hint of moving on with everything buried beneath the surface. Also, I listened to Deja and TDAG at very different times in my life, so they've also taken on their own meanings in my personal life, transcending objective lyrical content and general sonic atmosphere. | Conmaniac
08.02.16 | Deja seems too angsty for acceptance...id put YFW at Anger, Deja at Denial, Fight Off.. at Depression, TDAG at bargaining (jesus christ as a song solidifies this) and since Daisy is the most self aware about one's fate, Acceptance | elliootsmeuth
08.02.16 | Daisy did enter the running for acceptance | Conmaniac
08.02.16 | on the outside Daisy makes sense for anger but lyrically much more align with acceptance | elliootsmeuth
08.02.16 | Agreed. The overall sound is just too much to pass up for anger, imo, though. | Masochist
08.02.16 | 'Daisy' is their angriest-sounding, but it's ironically their least angsty/angry lyrically-speaking. I believe it can stake a claim for "Acceptance," though it would depend on your interpretation of the album--is it them at their angriest because of the aggressive music, or is it them at their least angry because what they say isn't that angry? | DirEnRefused
08.02.16 | analogy seems really forced and clunky tbh, i wouldn't assign any of these albums to the stage you said. | elliootsmeuth
08.02.16 | Honestly is pretty forced. Wanted to do a list and some of the lyrical themes of some of their albums reminded me of the grieving process and I just ran with it. | juiceviaorange
01.07.17 | Considering all 5 releases are depressing, angry, etc. in their own right - I'd say well done, and I generally get the most upbeat vibes from Deja Entendu, even considering its mostly downbeat lyrical content. | Satellite
01.07.17 | the 5 stages of angst would be more appropriate | Flugmorph
