Just saw new Bourne movie... I'm pretty critical but I didn't think it was that bad. I would say 4/5 because though it was a better movie of the genre and had some fairly intense and heart-pounding, teeth-clenching scenes, it did follow the formula that is the Bourne movie and just felt a little predictable at times. Still, would recommend the movie to any fan of the trilogy. And it was much better than Legacy. | | 1 | Moby
Extreme Ways
Also, thought I would drop a little fun fact for everyone, because why not. The original version of Bourne theme song "Extreme Ways" came off of his 2000 debut 18 and was used in both Identity and Supremacy. However, he redid and tweeked the track and titled it "Extreme Ways (Bourne's Ultimatum)" for 2007's The Bourne Ultimatum, the same version that was used in the recent Jason Bourne. | |

07.30.16 | yeah, it felt kind of forced, like they were just getting her out of the way so Bourne could do Bourne stuff. they treated her like some underdeveloped character who just gets killed off in the beginning so the protagonist has a motive, as if the first movie never happened. would have been better if they at least kept her around for a little while. it wouldve even strengthened the emotional impact of her death. | ShadowRemains

It was a bit predictable, but I can't stay mad at bourne ya know.
And the new version of "extreme ways" that was used in this one was worse than the ones before it. But still I get so many chills listening to that song and I immediately transport into a Bourne movie. |
