Bad art can be a dealbreaker for me when I think of purchasing an album. Good art on a great album is great. I hate shitty album art though, I may love the album, but I wish people would sometimes think before just letting anything be the album art. |

08.10.16 | Hmm. I suppose it can help set a mood. Thinking of examples and I keep coming up with album art that coincidentally signalled a change of pace for the band. Specifically thinking of:
Rosetta - A Determinism of Morality
Tesseract - Polaris
Marliyn Manson - Mechanical Animals
things like that. Not sure it makes albums better or worse, though. Will have to think on it. |
