Mayhem Ranked
7Mayhem
Esoteric Warfare

Haven't listened to this yet, but i've ordered the vinyl. Really excited to hear it.
6Mayhem
Grand Declaration of War

Never been a fan of this one, it has some good moments, but i dislike some of the experimentation here, and the vocals come across as cheesy in some moments.
5Mayhem
Deathcrush

Some of my favorite Mayhem songs on an ep. Not much to say about this one.
4Mayhem
Ordo ad Chao

Sort of a return to form after the two polarizing albums that came previously. Very solid album that sees Atilla returning on vocals.
3Mayhem
Chimera

Really under-appreciated piece of their discography. Ton of standout tracks here.
2Mayhem
Live in Leipzig

While it isn't exactly a focused album because it's not really an album, it's a great collection of live tracks with the original vocalist Dead. I honestly prefer Atilla's vocals, but It's extremely interesting to hear Dead sing on some of Mayhem's most iconic tracks.
1Mayhem
De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas

Literally a perfect album, widely considered one of the best, if not THE best album in the genre. An absolute masterpiece.
