SitarHero
03.18.16 | This game is like crack with a side of carpal tunnel. |
Avagantamos

03.18.16 | I never really understood it... is there a strategy or do you just have to guess the early game? |
Sinternet
03.18.16 | It really only takes one click to form a strategy, from there just work with the numbers you have |
Jasdevi087
03.18.16 | the numbers tell you how many bombs are surrounding that square |
SitarHero
03.18.16 | It's random clicking until you get a good clearing. Then you start chipping away with math. |

03.18.16 | "I was obsessed with minesweeper in high scoule. my mom said it was sweeping my mind"
Shit, your mom cracks dad jokes? |
Zig
03.18.16 | Never got the game, maybe it was too hard for me as a child. Always, played the pinball game. |
SitarHero
03.18.16 | Yeah it was pretty frustrating when I was a kid too. It's weirdly therapeutic and relaxing now. |
Sinternet
03.18.16 | have you ever timed yourself to see how quick you can do each size? |
SitarHero
03.18.16 | Yeah man. Broke the 10-60-200 mark. Current record is 9 for beginner, 58 for medium and 198 for expert. But I'm working with a crappy computer that has a crappy mouse. Half the time the two button click doesn't work properly. |
Quake
03.18.16 | When I was a kid I would set the number of mines to 10 so I could win every time and feel good about myself. |
Sinternet
03.18.16 | ahh damn you're quicker than i am. 12 for beginner, 72 for medium and can't remmeber my expert one it's been so long since i played it |
Yotimi
03.18.16 | 83 for expert back in the day.... Nerd alert |
Yotimi
03.18.16 | (1 for beginner) do enough and you'll eventually luck into that |
SitarHero
03.18.16 | 83?! Holy crap! I can't even fathom how that's possible.
I used to do the 10 mines in an expert-sized grid thing too for the quick and easy win when I was a kid. xD |
SitarHero
03.18.16 | Random factoid: Some time ago I read this article about how the reason Microsoft included Minesweeper in Windows was to encourage people to become more adept with their mouse usage. It makes perfect sense too cos' when we first got a computer my mom used to LIFT the mouse to make the cursor move upwards on the screen. |
Yotimi
03.18.16 | well when I was in highschool I still had dial up internet... so I played minesweeper a lot |
SitarHero
03.18.16 | Woah...I just discovered the world record for Expert is 32 seconds. 32! |
PappyMason
03.18.16 | Shit, that's mental |
SitarHero
03.18.16 | This is apparently the world record sweep. My brain can't process this right now. I'm going to bed.
