02.26.16 | Rec me best songs/albums from them if you want, thats all I'm listening to until the concert |
Devastator
02.26.16 | 1 and 2 man, you're in for a treat that's for sure. |
Feather
02.26.16 | Coheed has like a 16 song set, Glassjaw 10 and I the Mighty 5. Honestly I have listened to at least one full album from each of them at some point in time and I have liked them all, just have not actively been a fan. |

02.26.16 | 2 and 3 rule, 1 never been a big fan of, but sounds like a great gig enjoy man
with 3 basically listen to their Karma Never Sleeps EP, it's by far their best release |
Devastator
02.26.16 | Coheed will mostly focus on their newer stuff I imagine with maybe some oldies thrown in towards the end. Glassjaw on the other hand should play stuff from all their releases since they haven't released anything in a while. I the Mighty will focus on their new stuff too probably. |

02.26.16 | Coheed always puts on a great show. High energy, great performance, and usually an encore or two. Well worth your money. |
Feather
02.26.16 | since I dont know any of these bands extremely well I looked up their setlists and just made a playlist of their show from last night. Coheed is definitely playing a lot off their newest album, but they have atleast 1 song from every release which is cool. Glassjaw is mostly playing off worship and tribute (not surprising).
I'm really liking what I'm hearing from Coheed, idk how Ive never really listened to them. |

02.26.16 | Coheed are great (though i'm not big on their new material) and Glassjaw are amazing. |
BeyondCosby
02.26.16 | Not to toot my own horn, but if you are interested in checking out some of their music I did a "Top Forty" list a while ago that might steer you in the right direction. |
Feather
02.26.16 | I'll check it out Bill |
Shemson
02.26.16 | Coheed are awesome! Be sure your familiar with Welcome Home, Atlas and In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth so you can get involved with those epic moments! I'm sure they'll play all of those. |
Feather
02.26.16 | Thanks Shemson, Im extremely familiar with Welcome Home (Rock Band back in the day). I'll make sure to get the other two down. |
Sinternet
02.26.16 | in keeping is definitely Coheed's best |
Shemson
02.26.16 | Oh yeah expect big sing alongs in the 'man your battle stations' bit.
Also I haven't seen them since they finished the first five album story but if they play Gravity's Union from Decension that'd be epic |
MyNameIsPencil
02.26.16 | I think glassjaw may throw in some new tracks seeing how they're allegedly putting out new material this year
also didn't realize you're in the Chicago area too |
Feather
02.26.16 | @Pencil I think they must be, because a song or two on their setlist I couldnt find online. And Yeah! I grew up in the suburbs and I currently go to Ohio State for school, but this semester I have an internship downtown so I am living in Lincoln Park, hbu?
@Shemson On Descension all they are playing is Key Entity V and The Hard Sell it looks like (well yesterday anyway) |
YetAnotherBrick
02.27.16 | dude Glassjaw is gonna slay, and it's not like they're playing shows all the time right now either |
Shemson
02.27.16 | Oh yeah entity V is Sentry that's a really good track too. Hope you had a good show mate. |
Feather
02.27.16 | Okay I am going to be honest with my review of this show.
I the Mighty: Played decently well, but I was a little dissapointed. They sound better with their studio magic
Glassjaw: Played great. They sounded spot on and put on an energetic performance. The problem is that I realized that I just am not the biggest glassjaw fan. I feel bad saying that because I know how many people would loved to have the opportunity to see them, but I am just not the biggest fan of theirs.
Coheed: Played great, sounded dead on and I am definitely a much larger fan of theirs after watching their performance. I was very impressed with everything, but I wish they played less of their newest album. It just wasnt close to as epic as their older hits.
All in all, great show. |
MyNameIsPencil
02.27.16 | Did Glassjaw play new material tho
Or at least do you know where one could find their setlist |

Shemson
02.28.16 | Makes sense with Coheed, except for Atlas there's not really any 'epic' moments on their last album it's just good fun.
I agree with you on Glassjaw too tbh, I really tried to get into them especially seeing how much people here love them but it just doesn't do anything for me. |
Feather
02.29.16 | Shemson, glad someone shares my feelings about them, they just arent for me. |
