A New Hope hasn't aged great at some moments and I didn't particularly care for Return of the Jedi. Empire is fantastic though, near perfect.

Like that "Do you remember the Shire?" moment. I admit it's cheesy, but man ... it's deep! A lot of Star Wars dialogue is just hollow talks, especially the dialogue between Han and Leia in TESB.

Friday13th 12.27.15	The Star Wars trilogy is probably more important as a set of movies, since they're the source material. The LOTR was already a classic novel series. What's amazing is that the movies were actually a huge success. Everyone told Peter Jackson it would flop. The Star Wars soundtrack is better. However, think about all the great music by bands like Zeppelin and Camel that reference LOTR, yet we still don't get much music about Star Wars. Another comparable series is Dune, which like LOTR you get great music by prog and metal bands. Unfortunately the Dune movies suck.

I haven't had the pleasure to experience these films as a kid so i cant feel that nostalgia and only see these films for what they are.
