11.12.15 | Nice list, I really like Tchaikovsky's concerto. I still haven't listened to 2 all the way through. Check out Mozart's 5th |

11.12.15 | yay, nice list. 1, 4, and 7 are definitely some of my favorites. cool to see 10 on here too, one of the first pieces I heard when I started exploring classical music. gonna check 5 and 8 soon, and I haven't even heard of 9 |
CamiloG
11.12.15 | @Atari What are your opinions about 2, 3 and 6? |
SapphireFace
11.12.15 | some of these would've made the list if they were in the database: shoenberg, berg, profokiev no. 1 (more daring) and 2 (more beautiful), vieuxtemps no. 1 and 5, khacaturian, saint-saens no. 2 |
Atari
11.12.15 | why not just add them to the database :3
@CamiloG, haven't heard Beethoven's violin concertos yet. Tchaikovsky's violin concerto is solid enough, but not a huge fan to be honest. 6 is pretty good, but not as poignant and affecting as 4. there's still a lot I haven't heard though haha |
CamiloG
11.12.15 | Really looking forward to hear 4 based on that little description you just gave. |
Atari
11.12.15 | it's excellent, but wasn't very immediate for me. if you haven't heard 7 I'd actually recommend trying that one out first. also a very emotional piece, but much more accessible |
CamiloG
11.12.15 | 7 is brilliant, so is 9, I highly recommend you check it. |
Atari
11.12.15 | will do. definitely let me know what you think of sibelius' violin concerto as well :] |
treeqt.
11.12.15 | gubaidulina, schnittke and britten wrote some nice concertos tbh |
SapphireFace
