Depths of Doom matches 5-6

Gonna be honest with you all, time is not on my side with this, as such I'm starting a double elimination round. Our first two albums are doom-fusion albums, one with huge experimental, noise and sludge influences in their sound thanks to Scott Kelly of Neurosis providing vocals and guitar, and the other with huge grooves and huge ambient/drone influences à la Sunn O))). Groovy Ambient, or Our second match features two highly important albums in the history of funeral doom, one laid the groundwork for said genre as well as had an impact on the Gothic scene, while the other pretty much started the genre.
1Corrections House
Last City Zero

this is an really interesting album as it combines industrial elements with a big slap of doom, psychedelic, experimental, noise and sludge. (scott kelly from neurosis on vocals and guitar).

BSoN are a German group who play a hybrid style of music that combines Drone, Doom and elements of Sludge. They began their career as a pure Drone/Ambient project and recorded two albums that sound like Sunn O))). Their 3rd album was entirely different. They decided to keep the drone effect and use it within the logical structure of a "normal" song. It sounds like if Sunn O))) made a dark ambient album filled with enormous drumming, monstrous grooves and minimalism. The riffs are quite spectacular, simple and powerful and the vocals sound terrifying. A relentless album to say the least. Highly recommended. - Rockandmetaljunkie
3Funeral
Tragedies

laid the groundwork basically for modern funeral doom, but is unique in that the lead vocals are operatic female vox alongside guttural growls which also made its mark on the gothic scene with the whole beauty and beast vocal stylings - Keyblade

Fhtagn-nagh Yog-Sothoth

Funeral doom started here.

Also, Cthulhu. - Egarran
