manosg 06.17.15	Ashore the Celestial Burden is pretty great. Really atmospheric with very good vocals. Strong songwriting as well.

SCREAM! 06.17.15	"Both covers are fucking atrocious." Not gonna lie I actually like the 2nd one. The childish innocence of the drawing style brings out the actually morbidity of the drawing/album title and makes the whole thing slightly eery
emester 06.17.15	I really dont see childish innocence in the cover of 2. It more reminds me of the style of art seen on media during the time of the Black Plague. Hell, I think that could even be its source material

Friday13th 06.18.15	Totally getting a "Phantom of the Opera" Maiden vibe from the first track on 1. And then the DOOM hits.

JasonCarne 06.18.15	Of all of the records that could be up against my pick, this would be one of the three records that comes really close, that Sol album is awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if Paramaecium, Thergothon or Dolorian wins this whole thing though - if it was the other Paramaecium album, that would've had it in the bag probably. The Funeral and Veni Domine albums rule too.
