SharkTooth 06.06.15	obviously I love 1, but 2's black-metal production adds a creepy feel that really helps the general quality of the album. At the same time I fucking love the crispness of the riffs on 1, it just has a more "violent" feel to it
Friday13th 06.06.15	1 riffs hard yeah. I'm not quite sure about the distorted, inexpressive singing though. It's not too distracting at least.

Friday13th 06.06.15	Right, it's not much of an issue. Meaty riffs are meaty riffs! I'd definitely take it over 2. I don't think the blackened lo-fi feel fits doom very well. Granted, black metal isn't my thing, being why I opted out of SCREAM's contest. Anyways, my vote goes with #1
SharkTooth 06.06.15	I was impressed with the instrumentation on 2, gonna relisten to my own before coming to a final conclusion but I wouldn't be surprised if either one wins EDIT: I'm somewhat leaning towards 1 just because the fuzz is so powerful in it, there's nothing wrong with the BM production in 2, but damn 1's sound is just so powerful

emester 06.06.15	eh i would say 1 is only fairly decent so fair. the riffs are heavy yeah but the airy vocals really do not complement the heaviness that well. While it does have some absolutely crushing moments they in themselves arent really mind blowing looking at a decent 3 for 1

emester 06.07.15	2 is a lot more interesting than 1 if I gotta be honest. It sounds like borderline blackened sludge. Its not fantastic but it sounds like its own thing while Monolord feels like another EW worship band. The lo-fi production doesnt bother me in the slightest hell I think it works to the overall benefit of the album. plus the drumming on 2 is almost hypnotic and really kept me engaged. not sure who my vote goes to yet but its looking like its going to be Black Demon Rites
