TheSonomaDude 05.30.15	I mean high school wasn't bad, I had it pretty good, but it felt like a pretty pointless time in my life because I already had a few college scholarships at the start of my junior year and my excellent SAT score made my shit GPA seem obsolete. Also I just hated waking up a 5:00 AM every morning to go to school and then not come home until 7:30 PM most nights but who gives a shit. I always just wanted to go into film and I'm finally there.

TheSonomaDude 05.30.15	My parents are really paranoid about the high school I'm zoned to (any school with more than 20% black is a thug school essentially) so I'm attending the "safest" (aka whitest) school in the area, which is an hour drive up north. I get home late because of all the sports and clubs I'm in; football, baseball, student council, newspaper. Most of them go pretty late, especially on game days.

I'm athletic but I'm 5'6 playing a position meant for people 6'1+ but I broke my arm in the first game (lmao) and came back in week 7 strictly as the punter. Our team is really bad, we went 2-8 this year and won our two games by a field goal. To my surprise, a lot of the film schools that I applied to wanted me to try out for their football, baseball, and track teams. King's College and Oklahoma City University even said I had a definite spot on the roster if I said yes. I guess I would be good if I went up against a bunch of nerdy white film geeks.
SPRFanOf5H 05.30.15	@TheSonomaDude: That sucks man the injury bit of it, our team went 5-5 this year and got embarrassed by a nationally-ranked team in Bothell who happens to be our rival. I'm athletic myself, I'm 6'1 actually haha and I play receiver. Didn't play last year because the team were a bunch of assholes, but I decided to go at it one last time since I'm a senior + I did pretty good last time I played so why not? Team mostly still has a bunch of dipshits haha.
TheSonomaDude 05.30.15	Yah our team is like 90% white. This school is primarily made of arrogant white kids who have parents that make $150,000 a year in the 2nd wealthiest neighborhood in Texas; it's pretty weird to see my 04 Nissan Xterra in a sea of Mercedes, BMWs, Jags, and lifted pickup trucks no older than 2013. We have maybe a 9 black kids and maybe 3 hispanics on a roster of 58 and I'm a 5'6 175 pounder playing outside linebacker. Locker room playlist is pure shit.

TheSonomaDude 05.30.15	I've fabricated on resume too, no questions asked, they were just like "cool dude, nice" and they never even called the reference phone numbers.
SPRFanOf5H 05.30.15	You said you had a shitty GPA, like what are we talking here? I ask because you said your SAT score which was excellent made your GPA not really much of an issue, plus I got like barely a 3.0 because I'm lazy af but I'm actually really good when it matters the most. Same here too on the car bit, happen to live in wine country so you see kids with brand new pickup trucks and shit. I'm 170 in my position, really difficult for me gaining weight as it is. Our team plays the same shitty country, hip-hop BS like Lil' Wayne and hell even the new garbage stuff like that trap queen song. Pretty lame if you ask me.
TheSonomaDude 05.30.15	My GPA was a 2.78 but I got a 2310 on my SAT with writing. I just did not give two shits about education at all tbh, never turned anything in.
