Take This to Your Grave
This is in my top 20 Pop Punk albums of all time. It's insanely catchy, the hooks are spot on, the lyrics are spot on and every track is consistent. Songs like Dead On Arrival, Chicago Is So Two Years Ago, The Pro and Cons of Breathing, Grand Theft Autumn, Homesick At Space Camp, etc. Every song is brilliant and it's one of the reasons why i love Pop Punk so much.

From Under the Cork Tree
I remember being obsessed with this album when i was younger, the long song titles, insanely catchy hooks and the complete nostalgia. The musicianship, lyricism and production are all fantastic. Tracks like Sophomore Slump or Comeback of the Year, Nobody Puts The Baby In The Corner, Sugar We're Going Down, Dance Dance, etc. This record never gets old and for all the good reasons.

Folie a Deux
A little more mature album then the previous ones, focusing more on different elements. Folie is a great album with tracks like What A Catch, Donnie, Headfirst Slide into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet, American Suiteharts, Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes. Great album all together.

Infinity on High
Infinity on High could be a stellar album if it wasn't so poppy. It does a lot of excellent songs on here like Lawyer, Hum Hallelujah, The Carpal Tunnel of Love and Thanks Fr The Memories. It's a really fun album to jam every now and then.

Save Rock and Roll
Fall Out Boy's comeback album didn't really do much for me, it had a couple of good tracks like Death Valley, Young Volcanoes and Alone Together. It has grown on me quite a bit though.

04.27.15 | Though I myself don't really mind FOB in general, those last two official recordings they put out are nothing but trend-pandering rubbish; not even the good kind, either. A stylistic change in direction can work wonders, but that's not necessarily the case for this band, no sir.
It seems as if these guys and Panic! at the Disco are trying to out pop music one another, but to the latter's credit, Too Weird to Live wasn't actually all that bad. |
