04.15.15 | number 20 was forgotten...I'll try to place it to 14 approx. (done) |

04.15.15 | great band. I've only listened to for your pleasure and country life and I love 'em, but I can't comment too much on this ranking |

04.15.15 | List edited couple of times. I think I'm done now. |

04.15.15 | Sweet list. |

04.17.15 | I've only checked Country Life and FyP but it seems like I should check Siren too.
Never been a fan of The Bogus Man tbh, the best one in FyP for me is 10, by far |

04.17.15 | Where does one start with those guys? |
MrSirLordGentleman
04.17.15 | For Your Pleasure and Country Life, check them manosg, excellent art-rock here |

04.17.15 | @SirLord Ironically, 10 was 4 since this afternoon, and I changed it instinctively. And yes, Siren is just as great as Country Life.
@Manosg, I'd start with ''For Your Pleasure'', then their eponymous album. You just have to avoid Manifesto and Flesh + Blood. |
Jethro42
04.17.15 | Oh, and The Bogus Man was initially at 6. I love how it has its steady beat throughout as different sounds come and go.

04.17.15 | Thanks guys. For Your Pleasure it is then! I was always under the false impression that Roxy Music was active during the 80s. I was so wrong. |
MrSirLordGentleman
04.17.15 | They do have that 80's vibe |

04.17.15 | Sweet, I've only heard the first two and Avalon so far. Man Jethro, it's been a while since you made a list! |

04.17.15 | damn first list in over 2 years it looks like. 15 is a tune. |
Jethro42
04.17.15 | Damn, time flies. Needless to say that the last two years were not my most active in sput. |

04.17.15 | Nice list--great choices--I would add Out Of The Blue. That might be my favorite Roxy song. Jobson's violin solo at the end blows me away every time. |
TwigTW
04.17.15 | Lol, you have it at number 2, I missed it. |
TwigTW
04.17.15 | @MSLGentleman: So many 80s bands list them as an inspiration. |
Jethro42
04.17.15 | Thank's for your comments, Twig. I hesitated between ''Out of the Blue'' and the very Bowie like ''Both Ends Burning'' (I'd not be surprised if it was a rip off) as my number 1. Both can take the cake for sure. |
TwigTW
04.18.15 | ^Bowie, Ferry, Peter Murphy, Japan era David Sylvian: they all borrowed so heavily from each other that I don't even think of it as a rip-off anymore. |
Jethro42
04.18.15 | I agree, and speaking of Bowie, I was willing to do a top 40 or something but I gave up. Too much songs to listen to lol. I don't know anything about Murphy except that he was the singer of Bahaus. Finally, I'm interested in David Sylvian cos of songs such as ''Orpheus'' and ''Jean the Birdman''. |
TwigTW
04.19.15 | Sylvian's (with Sakamoto) "Forbidden Colors" is probably my favorite song, but he did some really great stuff with Robert Fripp too.
