| My Top 5 Yes Albums
Legendary Progressive Rock band Yes has released amazing and unfortunately poor albums in there discog. I'm going to focus on when Yes was at the top of there game. | | 1 | | Yes Close to the Edge
Close to the Edge paved the way for the genre of Prog Rock. It has an stunning atmosphere, astounding musicianship, stellar production and clear emotion. This record has a timeless energy that will never be replaced. | | 2 | | Yes Relayer
Phenomenal listen, it uses different elements to make Relayer such a beautiful record. the musicianship and production are superior. Relayer has a lot of creativity and with some fantastic instrumentation, Relayer is worth listening too. | | 3 | | Yes Fragile
Fragile is a very superb listen from start to finish, i would say listen it's one of the first albums you should listen to get into Yes or in Progressive Rock in general. The album has no flaws and it's filled with great qualities, tons of catchy songs and unbelievable talent will make you appreciate Prog more and more. | | 4 | | Yes The Yes Album
This is when Yes really started to develop as a group. Fantastic instrumentation, production is clear and the songwriting brings out an chilling atmosphere. A really fun listen. | | 5 | | Yes Tales from Topographic Oceans
Pretty unappreciated, loved by die hards and kind of forgotten by others. This record sent a different approach but still kept those great qualities, to make another hit. Tales carries a lot of variety and depth which makes it an excellent album to hear. | |
