Nostalgia
It's raining pretty hard in Massachusetts. Just threw on my Mobrus Chron record and poured a glass of wine when I got punched in the throat with nostalgia so I decided to pause writing for a little bit to reminisce. |
| 1 | | Pearl Jam Ten
Crash Bandicoot 2. |
| 2 | | Slipknot Slipknot
Spaghetti and butter. That shit was my jam. |
| 3 | | Metallica Kill 'Em All
Metallica, because they were the first band I ever heard. My brother gave me this album back in 1995 when I was five years old and they were all I listened to until age 7, when he gave me Slayer, and then 9 when I heard Slipknot's first album. |
| 4 | | Korn Korn
Spawn, the comics. Spawn was the second comic book series I got REALLY into (also because to my older brother) and I have some fun memories of hiding these violent comics everyone, including my parents. |
| 5 | | Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
Jumanji. When I saw that in theaters I was terrified by that opening scene of young Robin Williams being sucked into the board game, but within a month of having that on VHS I had that entire script memorized. |
| 6 | | Limp Bizkit Significant Other
Gym class. Fuck gym class. |
| 7 | | Cannibal Corpse Tomb of the Mutilated
First death metal album I heard back in 2001. I was 11...looking back, that was probably too young but it did get me out of nu-metal and into more legitamite genres of metal. |
| 8 | | Nothingface Skeletons
Writing/drawing comics. I made comic books obsessively from Elementary School until mid High School. |
| 9 | | Rage Against The Machine Rage Against The Machine
Elementary - Rugrats, Middle School - Invader Zim |
| 10 | | Marilyn Manson Mechanical Animals
Summer Camp. Man, I lived for those two-three months a year. |
